LANE, Sue Thompson Age 82 of Brentwood, Tennessee, February 05, 2017. Sue Thompson Lane was born in Clovis, New Mexico in 1935 into a family of cattle ranchers, to parents Field Thompson and Margaret (Peg) Foraker Thompson. She passed away on February 5th. Raised in Southern California, she lived a full and vibrant life. She was a Mother of four children, Thomas Gibson (Maryika) of Vancouver, Washington, Field Gibson of Paso Robles, California, Terry Gibson (Nancy) of Oakgrove, Oregon and Jennifer Lane of Nashville, Tennessee. Sue was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to and extended family of 31. She is survived by her children and Grandchildren Tyler Gibson (Ashley), Nathan Gibson, Benjamin Gibson, Leah Gibson, Micha Avgar, Elizabeth Gibson and Great-Grandchildren Aiden Gibson, Vander Gibson, as well as by her husband Dale Hash, her sister Jane Louise Foraker Thompson and her four children and grandchildren, and her brother, Field David Thompson(Marie ) and their two sons and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Lane.
Sue has lived, explored, hunted and fished from the highest of the Rocky Mountains to the desert of Eastern Oregon and beautiful forests of the Pacific Northwest. She loved being outside and working with her plants and garden. Sue has been a member of Beta Sigma Phi for nearly 50 years. She was a member of the Legal Administration Association of Oregon and President of the Mount Hood Chapter of the Oregon Association of Nurseries. Instructor of Tai Chi at the Brentwood YMCA. A beautiful and loving woman, Sue will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
